Paying Your Rates Council ratepayers & residents are able to make rates and water billing payments using EFTPOS Facilities at the Moulamein & Barham Offices - this enables payments by credit card in person or on phone. The introduction of EFTPOS facilities replaces the defunct Bill Express Service Council previously utilised. Council provides rate payers the option of either paying your rates in full, by the first instalment date or paying by instalments. Late payments incur interest, which if not included in the instalment amount carry over to the next instalment & appears as arrears. If are experiencing any difficulties in making payments please contact the Rates Clerk, Mrs Barb Whitfield at the Moulamein Office, to discuss what arrangements can be made. A copy of Councils Rates as set for the 2009/10 Financial Year will be available for viewing or printing in the downloadable document box at bottom of the page when finalised.
