Wakool Shire Council this month welcomed Joy Mason in the new position of Community Development Officer.
Joy will be working with the community to help implement master plans for all local townships regarding new recreation facilities or upgrades.
The Community Development focus will also eventually branch out to other areas of attention, such as assistance with grant funding and Tourism.
Joy was previously employed at Deniliquin Council as the Community Support Officer for 2 years. Welcome Joy!
