Build Safe Construction & Public Liability Insurance One of the most commonly overlooked problems for people building, renovating or extending their home is the issue of insurance. What is the Purpose of the Levy?
The NSW Government has put a levy on all building and construction work in NSW. The levy is paid into a fund, administered by the Long Service Payments Corporation and from this fund, the corporation makes long service payments to building and construction workers.

Who is an Owner Builder? An Owner Builder is anyone who does owner builder work and is issued with a permit for that work.
Only one owner builder permit can be issued within any five year period. more ..
